Celebrating its sixth year, the Pig Out festival offers a perfect way to herald the coming of the summer season in Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country. On Saturday  May 6th, held at Covert Farms, the annual vineyard pig roast, which brings together chefs from several local restaurants, including Platinum Bench Bakery,  Watermark Beach Resort, Miradoro at Tinhorn Creek Vineyards, Covert Farms and of course, Terrafina at Hester Creek by RauDZ.

Between 1-4pm the chefs will be showcasing their hog roasting skills at the outdoor-tented festival, which takes place amongst the beautiful organic vineyards of Covert Farm in Oliver.  Every year, Pig Out celebrates a different culinary theme and this year will be no different.  A cornucopia of dishes featuring local ingredients will be offered alongside the wineries of the Oliver Osoyoos Winery Association, pouring new releases  and fan favourites.

Our culinary team is excited to participate in this sell-out event.

Join Hester Creek Estate Winery and Chef Rod Butters as we celebrate his first cookbook, ‘The Okanagan Table:  The Art of Everyday Home Cooking.  Chef Rod Butters is the Chef/Owner of RauDZ Regional Table, micro bar & bites and Terrafina at Hester Creek by RauDZ.  He will share some of his favourite recipes in this multi-course dinner.  Each course will be expertly paired with the award-winning wines of Hester Creek Winemaker Robert Summeres.
